Because of the Yagya, “Agni Dev” became happy and offered “kheer” (An Indian Sweet Dish) to Devi Kaushalya and as a result, Kausalya gave birth to “Sri Ram”, Kaikeyi to “Bharat”, and Sumitra to “Laxman” and “Shatrughan”. For the protection of Ashram, “Rishi Maharshi” took them with him.

Ram killed the Demons like “Tadka”, “Subhahu”. On the other hand,  Laxman killed all armies of demons. Like the marriage of Lord Ram and Devi Sita, “Guru Wasisth” tied up the marriage of Laxman to “Urmila” and Shatrughan to “Ritukirti”.

However, what happened was that after the advice of “Manthra” who was the maid of Devi Keykai whom Devi took with her to the palace, after her marriage made a conspiracy with Devi Keykai to go to “Kop Bhawan” (a place where queens used to visit when they were angry or displeased) and act dishearted from her husband which would ultimately result him to come to her and listen to her feelings and desires. After the success of their conspiracy, when king Dashrath actually came to please Devi Keykai, she put her demands before him which consisted of Sri Ram to go to “Wanvas” for a duration of 14 years and meanwhile to make Bharat as the king of Ayodhya. For the successive agreement of her desires from the king, she reminded him of his promises which he gave to her long before the time of their marriage that explained that he would indeed complete the desire of Rani Keykai when she would be asking for it.

When king Dashrat unwantedly under the force of his promise declared disheartedly for Ram to go for Wanvas, Devi Sita and Laxman also went along with him. Dashrat yet after loving Ram more than his life, took this severely paining decision for him because he belonged to “Raghuvansh” which is being known ultimately for holding the promises done.
