BULBUL CYCLONE: A SOAR FOR BENGAL
A very devastating cyclone which hit the lands of Bengal, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Island, In India and some coastal regions of Bangladesh. It was equivalent to the category 2 hurricane. bulbul cyclone originates from the remnants of Severe Tropical Cyclone Matmo over the southern Bay of Bengal.
The cyclone is fourth tropical cyclone ever recorded to regenerate over the Andaman Sea, have crossed Southeast Asia Island; it is only the second to become the strength of the hurricane, the last to occur was in 1960.
The highest winds speed which was recorded for 3 sustained minutes was 140 kmph (85 mph) and for 1 minute was 155 kmph (100 mph). The lowest pressure recorded was 980 hpa (mbar); 28.94 inhg. The area affected is Vietnam, Mainland Southeast Asia, Andaman and Nicobar Island, Odisha, West Bengal, Bangladesh.
DATE WISE UPDATES FOR BULBUL CYCLONE
OCTOBER 30, 2019:
On this date, Tropical Cyclone Matmo makes landfall in the areas of Vietnam, brings lots of heavy rains and flooding. It reduces and becomes slow as it moves the Indochinese Peninsula which becomes no more than a low-pressure system.
NOVEMBER 2, 2019:
The remaining of the Matmo emerged in the North Andaman sea, which slowly develops as metrological agencies and shows interest in the system and then fully reformed on November 5, After becoming into a cyclonic cyclone (IMD) India Metrological Department assigned the named Bulbul.
It continued in intensifying and increasing in its for the next 3 days, then it slowly moved north and prompting the IMD to issue a coastal warning for Odisha and West Bengal and prohibit all fisherman activity, beach activity and boating in and around the Bay of Bengal.
The cyclone which was due to make landfall on Saturday evening unleash the waves as high as 7 feet (2.1m). A dozen low-lying coastal district lies in the path of the cyclone.
NOVEMBER 10, 2019:
The Bulbul cyclone a soar for Bengal at 11:00 PM reached the coastlines of Bengal and Bangladesh, during that the heavy rainfall in the state of Bengal takes place. According to the weather report after hitting coastlines of Bengal and Bangladesh the speed and power of the cyclone may decrease.
The speed of the air while hitting Bengal and Bangladesh may go to 110 to 120 kmph after that it may increase to 135 kmph. Due to the heavy rainfall in Odisha and Bengal, 2 peoples died.
Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee has said that Bengal is ready to fight with the Bulbul cyclone, and the citizens of the Bengal need to stay in the home and not to worry about the cyclone. The Indian navy is ready to tackle any type of disasters caused by that Bulbul cyclone.
The Indian navy has told the fisherman not to go fishing and they should stay at the nearest port.

The Netaji Subash Chandra Bose international airport is close from 6:00 PM Saturday to 6:00 PM Sunday.

IMPACT OF THE BULBUL CYCLONE AND AFTER THAT
Due to the impact of the cyclone, all the JRD-JDC examination, National University examinations of Saturday and Sundays was suspended in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority suspends all sorts of activities at three Martine port and riverine transport service during the Bulbul cyclone, all flights canceled in Chittagong, Coxs Bazar, Barisal, Jashore domestic airport was canceled for 14 hours.

THE ISSUE OF NAMING THE BULBUL CYCLONE
when it was a tropical cyclone in the Western Pacific Ocean, it was named Matmo by the Joint Typhoon Warning Centre. Now it refers to Bulbul as tropical Cyclone 23W, the Indian Metrological Department recognize Bulbul as a separate cyclone, originate from a low-pressure system. It officially loses status at it crossed Indochinese Peninsula, and emerged into the Andaman Sea. It renamed into a separate system when it re-develop into a tropical cyclone.
